I feel so disconnected from my friends lately.
The entire semester we talked about how much we would hang out over winter break, and now break is here and I’ve hardly seen or spoken to my best friends.

Things that make me Happy:
I bought this dress today (but in darker green, not chartreuse):
1) It is Betsey Johnson, who will forever be one of my top fashion idols.
2) It came out to about 75% off because of the sale they were having (it was still about $130, but that’s a lot cheaper than the whole price, and hey, it’s Christmas time).
3) I got it in the biggest size left (a size 8)….and it fits...

I'm going to snap.
I need to get out of this house. I’m having one of those days where every little thing annoyingly gets under my skin. I can feel myself about to yell at somebody, which is awful.
Also, allergies are irritating the hell out of my eyes, I look like I’m crying/on drugs.
Does anyone else have days like that? Maybe minus the eye part.

Maybe it's just holiday stress
But for once I’m kind of happy that I’ll be going back to my own house next week. I miss my parents like crazy when I’m gone for school, but I’ve very much gotten into the habit of being alone when I want to be.
I’ve never realized what a blessing it is to be able to just sit in peace without people barging in.
Not to mention that my room at my parent’s house...
